Here is the latest project I have completed for my Master Weaver requirements. It is woven with a technique called Spanish Lace, which creates the unique squiggly lines. This project is a wall hanging, and would also great hanging where light can pass through it.
Normally I am not a fan of the labor intensive loom manipulated lace techniques, but I have to admit, this project was surprisingly enjoyable to weave and I really enjoyed it. It started out as some random experimentation with some warp left over on my loom from some scarves I was weaving, and it ended up being a valid project I am happy with!
